TS POLYCET Answer Key 2024: How to Calculate Marks?
TS POLYCET 2024 had a total of 150 questions divided as: 60 questions for Mathematics and 30 questions each for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. There was no negative marking and each question had a weightage of 1 mark. However, due to the same paper having two streams, the calculation of marks for MPC and BiPC students will differ. Hence, the total marks shall be calculated as:
1. For MPC:
MPC students were not to attempt any biology questions, thus MPC marks can directly be calculated as:
- MPC Marks = Total number of questions answered correctly in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry
2. For BiPC:
The candidates willing to take admission to Agricultural and Veterinary Diploma courses offered by PJTSAU, PVNRTVU, and SKLTSHU must attempt the Biology section. As Mathematics marks will be scaled down to 30, BiPC marks can be calculated as follows:
- BiPC Marks = Total number of questions answered correctly in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry + 0.5 * Total number of questions answered correctly in Mathematics
