With an objective to help visually challenged candidates, CBSE provided the question papers in Braille format also. An additional time of 25 minutes was given for Paper- I & II and another extra 50 minutes for Paper-III to the specially abled candidates.

The Board further stated that they had implemented ‘Digi Scoring' at 400 examination centres. The same medium was worked out earlier in the examinations conducted for Navodaya and Kendriya Vidyalayas.

Through this system, OMR Sheets were scanned in the test centres itself, and they were stored at the central server of CBSE.

CBSE is planning to implement ‘Digi Scoring' in 1900 test centres for JEE (Main) 2017 examination which is scheduled to take place in the month of April. The online application process of JEE (Main) 2017 examination concluded last week.
