UGC NET 2022 Exam Day Instructions

The UGC NET 2022 Phase 2 exam will be conducted online in various examination venues across 541 cities in India on September 20 and 22. The exam will be held in two-time slots on each prescribed day. The morning shift timing is from 9:00 am to 12:00 PM and the afternoon shift is from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The NTA has ensured proper arrangements at the examination centres for the smooth conduction of the UGC NET Exam and has also released some exam day instructions.

UGC NET 2022 Exam Day Instructions

The updated instructions for the UGC NET 2022 Phase 2 exam are given below for UGC NET Exam Day:

• The applicants appearing for the UGC NET exam 2022 have to arrive at their exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam. 

• Carry the UGC NET 2022 admit card with you on the exam day. It is to be noted that no applicant will be given entry inside the examination centre without presenting their admit card. The applicant must also carry a valid Photo ID for verification purposes along with the admit card on the Exam Day.

• The applicant must keep proper social distance from others at the examination centre. The applicants will be allowed to enter the examination hall only after they have ensured to follow COVID 19 social distancing protocols..

• The applicants have to wear a mask and gloves essentially before entering the examination hall.

• The applicants must ensure they don’t have any signs/symptoms of Covid 19 before appearing for the UGC NET 2022 Exam.

• If any applicant is found to have COVID-19 symptoms, he/she will not be permitted to appear for the exam.
