UGC NET EWS Cutoff Marks June 2024 Subject-Wise
For all subjects, UGC NET EWS cutoff marks June 2024 have been stated here. The cutoff marks are detailed for both the Assistant Professor and JRF posts.
UGC NET EWS Cutoff Marks June 2024 Subject-Wise: The National Testing Agency has released the UGC NET subject-wise and category-wise cutoff both for the Assistant Professor and JRF & Assistant Professor after releasing the result. Note that the minimum passing marks are not the UGC NET category-wise cutoff marks. For candidates who obtained the UGC NET minimum category-wise cutoff marks, the authority will generate the respective certificate for them. The UGC NET cutoff marks depend on several factors such as the number of candidates who appeared for the exam, the difficulty level of the paper, and available seats for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professorships.
For instance, the UGC NET EWS category cutoff for Defence and Strategic Studies is 200 and 226 for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor posts respectively.

Based on the above analysis, it can be seen that the UGC NET cutoff for subjects like Philosophy, Political Science, Public Administration, Defence and Strategic Studies, Sociology, and History are higher than the other subjects. Also, the cutoff for JRF & Assistant Professor is higher than “Assistant Professor” for all the subjects. On the other hand, the UGC NET EWS cutoff for all the subjects is quite lower than the Unreserved category candidates.
