UGC NET June 2024 Result Date: After delaying the results of the re-test for over 49 days, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally declared the UGC NET June 2024 result date today, October 17 on X. According to the announced date, the result will be declared at ugcnet.nta.ac.in today or by tomorrow, October 18, 2024. Over 9 lakh applicants appeared for the examination and will be able to check the results and download their scorecards by October 18, 2024.

Since fake result screenshots were being circulated, and Jai Adivasi Yuva Shakti planned for an ‘‘NTA office gherao’ and tweeted for UGC NET result on social media, NTA authorities were compelled to declare the result date for the re-examination. The re-examination was held from August 21 to September 5, 2024, due to a question paper leak.
Once the result is announced, candidates will be able to login to their portal using their UGC NET application number and date of birth to check the result. Candidates will be assigned two marks for every right answer, and no marks will be deducted for wrong or unattempted questions. The UGC NET result will be declared in marks as well as percentile format for P.h.D admissions.
