What is UGC NET E-Certificate?
When the candidates qualify for the UGC NET 2021 exam, they will be awarded an E-Certificate by NTA to appreciate their work. The certificate assures that the candidate has qualified for the UGC NET exam and is eligible for NTA NET Certificate & UGC NET JRF certificate.
Who is Eligible for UGC NET E-Certificate?
This is to be noted that all the qualifying candidates will not be eligible for the UGC NET E-Certificate. Only the candidates who come under the top 6% candidates will be eligible for the E-Certificate. In the 6% slot, seats will also be reserved for candidates as prescribed by the Government and NTA.
How to Obtain E-Certificate?
The candidates who are eligible for the E-Certificate will have to wait for the notification by NTA. Once NTA releases the notification for the availability of E-Certificates, the candidates will have to upload their education certificates. The educational documents can be uploaded from the official website of UGC NET. NTA will verify the documents and then, the E-Certificates will be allotted to the candidates. The candidates can download their respective certificates by logging in to their accounts.
