— HRDGCSIR (@HRDG_CSIR) October 4, 2024Candidates must visit the official website and input their application number and birthdate to view their scores. Following the exam, the provisional answer key was published on August 8, and after necessary corrections, the final answer key was released on September 11. It is imperative to stress that neither email nor postal mail will be used to distribute the UGC NET 2024 results or scorecard. Candidates must instead obtain this data online. During the CSIR UGC NET session, a total of 2,25,335 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 1,63,529 candidates appeared for the test.
For the General category, the aggregate minimum qualifying marks in both Papers (in %) is 40, while for SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), PwD, and Transgender it is 35. Candidates who have applied for the UGC NET exam under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and successfully qualify for the exam will be issued a UGC NET EWS certificate. This certificate is significant as it grants those falling under the EWS category a 10 percent reservation in the recruitment exam. It's important to note that while candidates are not required to upload the UGC NET EWS certificate during the application process for the recruitment exam, they must ensure that they have the certificate ready to present to the recruitment committee when required.
