UGC to Collect Feedback on Pay Review Panel

The University Grants Commission has prepared an online questionnaire to seek feedback on the newly constituted Pay Review Committee. The questionnaire will be available on the official website of UGC. All the institutions and universities will have to fill the same latest by September 25, 2016. The UGC has constituted the Pay Review Committee in consultation with the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. The primary purpose of the committee is to revise the pay of academic staff of colleges and universities. UGC has prescribed a number of norms for the committee.

Now, the UGC would like to take the feedback on review committee from all the colleges and universities. It will help the committee to work effectively in the coming years. The commission has appealed to all the academic staffers to ensure that the data filled by institutes is accurate and complete in all respects.

Stakeholders have welcomed the initiative taken by UGC to collect the feedback. A senior member of a local academic circle said that they would take all the recommendations into consideration and consequently provide a feedback in a positive way.
