- Rs. 1.12 lakh crore has been allocated for the education sector.
- The Indian Economy has increased in size from the 10th biggest to the 5th biggest economy in 9 years.
- 157 new nursing colleges will be established.
- For children and adolescents, a National digital library to be formed for facilitating books across literature, geography, etc.
- To boost reading habits, National Book Trust and Children’s Book Trust will be encouraged.
- Government will collaborate with NGOs that work in literacy.
- To provide support to 47 lakh youths in 3 years, a Direct Benefit Transfer under a pan India national apprenticeship scheme will be rolled out.
- Three centres of excellence for artificial intelligence to enable 'Make AI for India' and 'Make AI work for India.
- The world has recognized India's economy as a bright spot, the FM said. India's growth at 7% in the current fiscal highest among major economies.
- 57 medical colleges have been established since 2014.
- "New program to promote R&D in pharma will be taken up through the centre of excellence Dedicate multi-disciplinary courses for medical devices," Sitharaman said.
- Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0 will be launched to skill lakhs of Indian youths.
- 30 Skill India International Centres will be set up across states.
- Four transformative opportunities can be used in Amrit Kaal for enhancing economic empowerment.
- Finance Minister announced that 38,000 teachers will be recruited for Ekalavya Schools.
