University of Hyderabad Signs MoU with NIMS
The MoU between UoH and NIMS would enable the faculty of UoH to interact with a clinician for conducting joint research projects.
The University of Hyderabad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) on October 20, 2016, at the inaugural session of BioQuest 2016 at UoH campus. On this occasion, Dr. Manohar, Director of NIMS stressed the importance of translational research and interaction among the scientists and clinicians to bring a new medicine to different life threating diseases.

Also, an additional Letter of Understanding (LoU) has been exchanged between UoH and Apollo Hospitals Education and Research Foundation (AHERF). The primary objective of the LoU is to give importance to health care research and innovations for developing cost effective treatment.
The MoU between UoH and NIMS would enable the faculty of UoH to interact with a clinician for conducting joint research projects. Emphasis will be laid on holding workshops, seminar, training programmes and conduct project works for MD/ PhD students.
The School of Life Sciences, UoH organised BioQuest 2016 in a grand way where the ongoing research and teaching programmes of the school were showcased. The primary objective of BioQuest is to promote translational research. It brings academics, industries and hospitals under one roof to transform research findings for the benefit of society.
