University of Hyderabad to Collaborate with Brazil Universities
UoH is set to collaborate with Brazil universities for joint research, student and faculty exchange programmes. UoH has been identified as the Nodal Institution for Brazil universities.
As a part of SPARC (Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration), the University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been identified as the Nodal Institution (NI) for the top higher learning institutes in Brazil. The SPARC scheme of MHRD will now allow UoH to collaborate with different universities in Brazil to promote research/ joint research and facilitate faculty-student exchange programme between the two institutes.
The collaboration will help UoH students to gain exposure by visiting the top universities in Brazil. On the other hand, UoH will also collaborate with academic and research institutes/ universities featured in top 500 list in World University Rankings.

Vice Chancellor of UoH, Professor Apparao Podile revealed that the varsity was actively involved in consolidating international collaboration with top-ranked universities across the globe. The SPARC scheme of MHRD will further strengthen the varsity’s zeal to improve the global rankings.
The collaboration with international universities will help UoH to take up joint research projects/ initiatives. The faculty exchange programme will not only enhance the knowledge of faculty but also enable them to adopt the best practices in teaching. Similarly, student exchange programme will provide required exposure to students in the respective field of education.
