University of Hyderabad (UoH) to Consider CUCET 2022 for UG, PG & Ph.D Admission

University of Hyderabad (UoH) will consider CUCET 2022 for UG, PG, and Ph.D. admission. The academic council of the University of Hyderabad has taken the decision to accept NTA CUCET Scores for the admissions into UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses.  The same was intimated to Universities Grants Commission. UoH is going to offer admissions to all the courses of Under Graduation, Post Graduation, and Ph.D. only to the candidates who have appeared for CUCET. The University of Hyderabad is also known as HCU which most sought-after University in the region. The UoH has been ranked 4th in NIRF 2022, Grade A by NAAC. Most of the students across the country do choose UoH for admission into different courses.

The National Testing Agency will be conducting CUCET 2022. The application form of CUCET 2022 is expected to be released in the first week of April 2022. The total number of central universities participating in CUCET 2022 is 45. CUET Score is a must for the admissions into Under Graduate programmes in all these universities.

University Grants Commission Chairman Mr. M Jagadesh Kumar while speaking at a virtual media conference confirmed that the notification of CUCET exam 2022 would be released soon and the application form of CUCET 2022 in the month of April.  He stated that Class 12 Marks would not be considered for CUCET exam this year. Mr. Kumar said that based on the ranks of CUCET 2022, students will be getting admissions into these participating universities of CUCET 2022. He added further that there is no common counselling process for CUCET 2022.

CUCET exam this year will be conducted in 13 languages. The question paper will be prepared on the NCERT syllabus. The question paper of CUET exam 2022 will have three sections. Jagadesh Kumar also informed media officials that NTA will be releasing the examination pattern within two or three days. For P.G admissions, CUCET 2022 is not mandatory for the academic year 2022-23 and universities may be conducting their own entrance exams. He also revealed that most of the central universities are interested to go for CUCET 2022 for PG admissions as well as but some of them would like to conduct separate examinations for PG aspirants. The aspirants of Ph.D. candidates can be admitted if they have UGC-NET or JRF ranks without conducting any other examination.
