University of Mumbai Postpones LL.M Re-Exams
- The first-semester LL.M re-examination of Mumbai University will take place from June 6.
- The last exam of the LL.M second semester was clashing with the first paper of the re-examination due to which the university postponed the exams.
The University of Mumbai will continue the semester exams for LL.M students by the end of June this year. As there was a clash between the second-semester examination and re-examinations for first semester exams. The varsity decided to push the re-examination dates from 23 May to 6 June to avoid any sort of chaos among the students regarding the examination.
There was also a lot of confusion regarding last year’s result LL.B results. As the result was delayed for almost five months. Admission to the LL.M courses was open until January and the university organized the first semester exams after the last day of admissions. In a relief to the university students, the Bombay High Court had allowed students to skip the first semester exams and instead of them take the re-examination along with the second-semester exams. Around 600 LL.M students opted for this option.

However, the students are unhappy with university’s administration as many of them decided to skip the first-semester exam in January due to which re-examination will be the main exam for these students. But, the exams will start right after second-semester exams, not giving students enough time for preparation.

The academic calendar of law faculty, University of Mumbai has gone for a toss as they have not yet declared the results of 1st, 3rd, and 5th-semester examination. The varsity is yet to declare the result of 18 courses which had 45,000 students.
