UP School Holiday 13 September 2024: Due to the adverse weather conditions and adverse rains, the district administrations in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh, Jhansi, Agra, Kannauj, and Eta have declared a holiday for schools on September 13, 2024. The decision to close the schools has been made in light of the warning issued by the India Meteorological Department about heavy rainfall in these areas for the next 2 to 3 days. The IMD has alerted of a moderate to high risk of flash floods, particularly in parts of west Uttar Pradesh, which prompted the closure order for the safety and well-being of the students. The closure applies to all schools from Nursery to Class 12th, including both government and private schools.
