UPPSC RO/ARO 2016 Exam Cancelled, Revised Dates
UPPSC RO/ARO 2016 paper which was leaked is put on hold for reinvestigation. Rescheduled dates of examination will be released soon.
UPPSC 2016 examination is cancelled. For the time being the re-examination date is put on hold. Three years ago, the UPPSC preliminary paper was leaked for the position of Review Officer (RP) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO). A total of 361 vacancies are available under this category.
Now that the paper will be rescheduled, the candidates who were absent will also be able to appear in both the papers. In 2016, a total of 3.85 lakh candidates had registered for UPPSC RO/ARO out of which 2.04 lakhs candidates had appeared in the examination. The test was conducted on November 27, 2016, across 21 districts. However, the Hindi question paper with the solution was leaked on Whatsapp before the second session of the examination was conducted. An FIR was soon filed at Hazratganj police station on November 30, 2016, after the order of Lucknow court.

On January 1, 2020, special judicial magistrate, CB-CID, quashed the report submitted by the agency in September 2018 and has asked the agency for reinvestigation. It is for this reason that the examination is put on hold and the candidates who have registered can appear for the examination once the dates are released.
