UPSC CDS (I) 2016 Results Declared
A total number of 199 members have qualified CDS (I) 2016 examination. Among the qualified the candidates, 46 are women, and 153 are men.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of CDS or Combined Defence Services Examination 2016 on January 28, 2017. The candidates who took the examination can check their results on UPSC's official website. The marks secured by the candidates will be published on the website within 15 days from the date of announcement of results. The final result will be available on the UPSC's official site for 60 days. According to sources, the new course will begin from April 2017.

A total number of 199 members have qualified CDS (I) 2016 examination. Among the qualified the candidates, 46 were women, and 153 were men. The interviews and selection of the candidates were conducted by Service Selection Board which belongs to the Ministry of Defence. The selection process was carried out for the admission to 19th Service Commission (Women) for Non-Technical Course and 105th Short Service Commission for Men. The courses will commence from April 2017.

Procedure to Check UPSC CDS (I) 2016 Result: -
- The merit list of the candidates (199 names) has been published on UPSC's official site.
- Once the candidates visit the home page, there is a tab which indicates ‘What's new'.
- Under the tab, there is a link which states ‘Final Results CDS (I) 2016'.
- A new page will open in the form of PFD file where the candidates can check their roll numbers and names.
- For the purpose of future references, the candidates can download and take the printout of PDF file.
