UPSC ESE Prelims 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the UPSC ESE Prelims 2023 examination on February 19, 2023. The examination will be objective-based. Candidates need to sit for two papers: General Studies I and General Studies II, and pass both tests to qualify for the Mains. Candidates should start preparing strategically for the test to get the best scores and follow the below-mentioned instructions to avoid any sort of problems on exam day. 

UPSC ESE Prelims 2023: Do’s

The candidates must adhere to the following instructions while sitting for the UPSC ESE Prelims 2023 test:

  • Do not forget to carry the admit card to the examination venue. Without the admit card, applicants will not be allowed to sit for the test. 

  • Aspirants must mark the answers on the OMR sheet with a black ballpoint pen only. 

  • Applicants must reach the venue before the reporting time to find their seats and exam room and collect their thoughts before the examination starts. 

  • Candidates are advised to wear a wristwatch to the examination hall to track time and complete all the questions accordingly.

The candidates should avoid committing the following mistakes on the UPSC ESE Prelims 2023 examination day:

  • Do not carry mobile phones within the examination hall. If found by the invigilator, they might not allow candidates to sit for the examination. 

  • Avoid panicking and appear for the examination with a clear mind. Unnecessary panic can lead to casualties.
