UPSC IAS Application 2022 withdrawal window is closing today on 7 March 2022. Union Public Service Commission has allowed candidates to withdraw their applications in case they are not willing to sit for this years’ examination. So, aspirants who have applied successfully can withdraw their application on the official website of UPSC by 6 PM today but they need to request to generate OTP for withdrawal of their Civil Services Application 2022 only till 5:30 PM today.

The Commission had opened this withdrawal window on March 1, 2022, and today this facility is ending at 6 PM.

UPSC CSE 2022 Application Form Withdrawal 

After submitting the UPSC IAS application form 2022 withdrawal request, the aspirant should get the approved receipt printed. Also, once the applicant withdraws the civil services application form, it cannot be renewed in the future at least for this year. UPSC doesn’t have a provision for refund of any fees already paid by the applicants, so even if the UPSC IAS application is successfully withdrawn, the fee will not be refunded to the aspirant. Candidates who successfully finish the application withdrawal process receive an automatically generated SMS and email on their registered email ID and mobile number.

Steps to Withdraw the UPSC Application Form 2022 

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC and click the link “ Online request for withdrawal of application of UPSC’. 

Step 2: On the next window, vital instructions are provided for the correct withdrawal of the application. Read the instructions carefully and click on the ‘Yes’ button.

Step 3: Enter your Registration number, after which click the ‘continue button’ and an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID. 

Step 4: Enter the OTP you received after which a successful application withdrawal message will be sent to your mobile. 

Step 5: Print the approved receipt for your future use.
