UPSC IES 2023 Exam Date Announced: Check schedule for online application form

UPSC IES exam date has been announced for the year 2023. All eligible candidates will be able to fill the form online from 19th April 2023 onwards on their official website- upsc.gov.in. The last date of registration will be 9th May and the exam will be conducted on 23rd June 2023. 

Indian Engineering Services examination will be conducted by Union Public Service Commission and candidates from Civil, Telecommunication, Mechanical electronic, and Electrical can apply for the vacancies. Scroll down below to know the dates and eligibility criteria for UPSC IES 2023 exam.

UPSC IES 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the UPSC IES exam are as follows- 

Education Qualification

• Candidates must possess an engineering degree from a recognized university. 
• Those who possess an M.Sc degree in electronics, radiophysics, and wireless communication are also eligible to apply. 

Nationality

• Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1st Jan 1962 are also eligible to apply. 
• Contenders of Indian origin who have migrated from neighboring countries like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Myanmar are also eligible to apply. 

Age

• The minimum age limit is 21 years.
• The maximum age limit is 29 years.
• The age relaxation for SC/ ST and government service candidates are 5-years, and for OBC it is 3 years.
