UPSEE 2017 Counselling to Begin from June 19
- The varsity has released the schedule for three rounds of the counselling process.
- Students must upload their certificates on the official website of UPSEE.
- The varsity conducts online verification of certificates this year.
The registration of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2017 counselling will begin on June 19, 2017. Application number and password are mandatory to register for the counselling. Only the candidates who cleared UPSEE 2017 examination for the admission to engineering and management courses can register for the counselling on the official website. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (AKTU) will activate the link for the registration on the official portal of UPSEE.
The varsity has released the schedule for three rounds of the counselling process. Usually, UPSEE Counselling includes verification of certificates/ documents, locking the options and seat allotment. It is not mandatory for the candidates to visit the counselling centres for the verification of certificates. Students must upload their certificates on the official website of UPSEE. The varsity conducts online verification of certificates.

Once the online verification of certificates is over, the candidates must lock the options, i.e., choose the colleges in which they want to seek admission. Based on the merit and rank, the examination authority makes the seat allotment. If the candidates feel satisfied with the college allotted, they must ‘freeze’ the option. If the candidates feel dissatisfied with the college allotted and want upgradation, they must choose ‘float’ option. The candidates can also withdraw the seats by selecting the same option. These candidates will not get a chance to take part in the subsequent rounds of counselling.

The candidates who took part in the counselling process can download the allotment letter from July 26, 2017. All the candidates who secured seats in UPSEE 2017 counselling must report to the institute from July 26 to July 29, 2017. Depending on the number of seats vacant, the varsity will release the schedule for the fourth round counselling process.
