Usha Rama College Celebrated 8th Anniversary

Usha Rama College of Engineering and Technology, Vijayawada celebrated 8^th Anniversary on 19-March-2016 at 6.00 PM. The chief guest of the event was Dr. V. Sesha Giri Rao, Associate Director, Sri Hari Kota, Nellore.

The celebrations commenced with a prayer song and lightening of lamp by the chief guest and college director. Later College director, P.Ramabrahmam presented the college report. He stated that the college has been recording 100% pass percentage since 2008. He proudly announced that out of 424 engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh Usha Rama College stood at the 19^th position. He also said that the placement percentage of the college is 75%.

Addressing the students’ chief guest said that, “students have to utilize each and every opportunity which would enrich their skills”. He felt that students must develop positive attitude which few of the students lack now-a-days. He motivated the students to be confident, brave and courageous to face any hardship in the life.

Prizes were distributed to the meritorious students of the college and winners of literary and cultural competitions. Later cultural programs commenced where students enthralled the audience with their dazzling dance performances. Various classical forms and western dances were performed by the students. A fashion show as organized by the students where students have displayed various cultures and traditions of India.
