Value-Based Education Inculcates True Human Virtues: Governor of Rajasthan

Addressing the students at the first convocation ceremony of Agricultural University, Kota the Governor of Rajasthan, Mr. Kalyan Singh said that value-based education inculcates right human virtues. He mentioned that the teachers have to work with dedication for instilling tolerance among the students.
He motivated the students to develop innovative techniques for crop cultivation and conservation. He stressed the importance of nutrient management, water self-reliance and soil testing. He advised the students to find ways to enhance the agricultural productivity. The convocation ceremony took place on September 25, 2016.

On this occasion, Mr. Kalyan Singh awarded five students with gold medals. He also awarded 178 students with graduate and postgraduate degrees. He also laid the foundation for the Administrative building of the university.
Narendra Singh Rathore, Deputy Managing Director of Indian Agriculture and Research Council, was also present at the event. Addressing the students, he stressed the need to bring changes in horticulture, milk and dairy sectors.

G L Kushwaha, Chancellor of Agriculture University said that two villages of Chachlao in Jhalawar and Chomakot in Kota are being developed as smart cities by the University. He further added that 55 more villages are adopted for agriculture innovations.
