VJIM Hyderabad Conducts Silver Jubilee Convocation of the PGDM Program
Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management hosted its silver jubilee convocation of the PGDM program at the Bachupally campus of the institute. Dr. DN Rao, the President of Vignana Jyothi was also present at the ceremony.

The CEO and Board of Director, Ola Skiing (P) Ltd, and Senior Advisor, OLA, Srinivas Chunduru said that the skill gap the nation is facing today has to be dealt with through a structured method and a lot of measures are required for this.

There is a huge gap between the availability of skilled people which leads to employability issues. This exists across industries and professions including blue collared as well as white collared jobs. One way to reduce the gap is to identify the skill gaps and then provide training for 1-4 months so that the availability of skilled manpower will be faster.
Chunduru mentioned that the graduating students should pay heed to this and take up entrepreneurship as a career. He also stated how the new-age technologies are changing the business dynamics and students need to adapt to these changes quickly.
Dr. DN Rao, the President of Vignana Jyothi was also present at the ceremony. He spoke about the driving forces which can shape the future of businesses around the world. He mentioned the influence of innovation, big data and artificial intelligence as the major factors which can change the agriculture, services, and industry, and also create new industries in the process. Giving an example of Israel, he said that Israel has grown as an innovation powerhouse. He also mentioned about Israeli technologies of micronutrient and water supply for individual plants and many such technological innovations.

Other members of the Vignana Jyothi Society, corporate guests, faculty members, academia and students were also present at the convocation ceremony.
