WB ANM & GNM 2023: Know latest exam pattern and marking scheme
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has laid out the WB ANM & GNM 2023 exam pattern and marking scheme on the official website for candidates to check and download or refer here for details.
WB ANM & GNM 2023: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will conduct WB ANM & GNM Entrance Exam 2023 on July 2, 2023, for which the last date to fill the application form is February 13, 2023. Candidates appearing for the entrance exam are advised to know the exam pattern and marking scheme. Also, the previous years' question papers of WBN ANM and GNM will help the candidates with the preparation.
The mode of WB ANM & GNM 2023 is offline, and the candidates are required to mark the answers in an OMR sheet. The question paper of WB ANM & GNM consists of three categories of questions, and the marking scheme is different for each category.

WB ANM & GNM 2023 Marking Scheme
As per the exam pattern for WB ANM & GNM the question paper will contain two categories of questions, so here are the details of the marking scheme for each of the categories:Category 1
- Out of the options available, only one answer will be correct
- Each correct answer will add 1 mark.
- Each incorrect answer will deduct ¼ marks i.e.25% of the mark.
- If candidates attempt more than one option, even if it contains the correct answer, it will be treated as an incorrect answer and treated equally.
- There will be one or more than one correct answer for candidates to check and decide accordingly.
- Each correct answer will add 2 marks.
- For combination option questions, if any of the chosen are incorrect will be treated as incorrect and no marks will be added or deducted.
- In case one of the options is correct, it will be marked as 2 x (no of correct options marked / total no of actually correct options).
