WBJEE Round 2 Counselling Dates 2023: Check schedule for upgradation, seat allotment
WBJEE round 2 counselling will be started on August 8, 2023, with the publishing of seat allotment results. Post that the candidates candidates should pay the seat acceptance fees along with the reporting to the allotted colleges on or before August 11, 2023.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will commence the WBJEE round 2 counselling from August 8, 2023, with the releasing of seat allotment results. There will be no further separate round of choice filling or mock allotment before the second round of counselling. The candidates, who have already successfully registered and paid the seat acceptance fee after round 1, will be eligible to participate in round 2 and can claim a better seat than round 1. Also, the candidates, who did not get a seat in round 1, will also be eligible to get a seat in the WBJEE round 2 seat allotment process. Note the available seats for round 2 WBJEE seat allotment will be less than round 1 (the available seats will depend on the seats filled or accepted by the students after round 1).
As per the notification, if the seat is upgraded in the WBJEE round 2, then the earlier allotment will be cancelled automatically. Moreover, the candidates will not be allowed to reverse the upgradation or cannot claim the earlier allotment back. Note, the round 2 seats will be allotted to the deserving students according to their merits.
