What after IIFT 2016 Results?
Around 50,000 candidates appeared for the IIFT 2016 written test.
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade or IIFT has announced the results of IIFT 2016 entrance examination on December 23, 2016. According to the official site of IIFT, a total number of 1,973 candidates have been shortlisted for the next level of the admission process. The written examination was held on November 27, 2016.

Around 50,000 candidates had appeared for the 2016 IIFT written test. Out of those who had appeared for the IIFT test, only the shortlisted candidates can download their score cards. However, the scorecard is yet to be released by IIFT. According to sources, the score card will be made available for download by the end of December. 2016. The cut-off marks for the admission will also be released soon.
The next round of selection process post declaration of IIFT 2016 Results is Essay Writing followed by Group Discission or GD and Personal Interview or PI. Essay Writing, GD & PI will take place in the month of January or February 2017.
These rounds will be held in the following cities:
- Mumbai
- Lucknow
- Kolkata
- Hyderabad
- Delhi
- Chennai
- Bangalore

Candidates must note that they need to submit a Statement of Purpose (SoP) during the selection process. Submitting SoP is mandatory.
The shortlisted candidates will be intimated the date and venue of interview through e-mail or call letter. Carrying call letter to the venue is mandatory.
A separate merit list will be prepared as per candidate's performance in written test, essay writing, GD & PI. The final merit list is expected to be released in the month of April 2017.
The total intake of IIFT Kolkata and Delhi Campuses is 140 and 210 respectively.
