The National Testing Agency will likely release the JEE Main result 2023 for the session 1 exam today in the percentile format. NTA conducted the JEE Main exam in multiple shifts, where the difficulty level of the paper was not the same. Hence, to maintain parity in the JEE Main results of the candidates, the authority will use a normalized process for calculating their obtainable score in the exam. Since JEE Main percentile is a normalized score, therefore, it is not the actual mark. After that, the Joint Admission Board (JAB) will declare the respective rank of the students, only after the JEE Main session 2 exam. Note, the authority will combine the raw obtainable marks and then derive the normalized for each Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics paper.
