Who Can Apply for CTET 2022?

CTET Eligibility Criteria 2022: The eligibility requirements to apply for CTET 2022 exam have been mentioned in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test Notification released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). All the applicants must check CTET Eligibility Criteria 2022 before applying for the CTET 2022 examination online. CTET Eligibility Criteria 2022 has been revised in the NCTE’s notification. The applicants who have enrolled in any Teacher Training Course(TTC) will be considered as Pursuing and they can apply for the Central TET Examination.
Here is a detailed overview of the eligibility criteria for CTET 2022 Paper I and Paper II separately.
CTET 2022 Eligibility For Paper-I (Any of these)
Completed class 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks aggregate and passed or recently appeared in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education/Four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Completed Secondary Schooling (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks aggregate and completed or recently appeared in the last year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Completed Class 12th (or its equivalent education) with at least 50% marks aggregate and completed or appeared in the last year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education)
The applicants having a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and a B.Ed degree can also apply for CTET 2022 Paper I. However, they also need to complete a bridge course of elementary education approved by NCTE
Post-Graduation applicants with a minimum of 55% mark aggregate and a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed course
CTET 2022 Eligibility For Paper-II (Any of These)
Completed Class 12th (or its equivalent education) with at least 50% marks aggregate and completed or appeared in the final year of a four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
Graduation degree and completed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
Graduation degree with at least 50% marks aggregate and completed or appearing in a one-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/B.Ed. (Special Education)
Graduation Degree with at least 45% marks aggregate and completed or appearing in a one-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) as per NCTE
Any applicant having a B.Ed degree recognised by NCTE
Post-Graduation degree with a minimum 55% marks aggregate or equivalent and completed a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed
CTET 2022 Age Limit
There is no age limit kept for the CTET examination by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The aspirants can attempt as many times as they want.
