Who is Eligible for CSAB Special Round Counselling 2023?
CSAB special round counselling 2023 will begin with online registration on August 3, and the candidates can check the eligibility criteria to participate in the counselling process.
CSAB Special Round Counselling 2023: Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will start the special round registration for CSAB 2023 on August 3, 2023. Candidates who were eligible in JoSAA for NIT+ System as per JEE (Main) 2023 Ranks are eligible for participating in CSAB 2023 Special Rounds. CSAB will close the registrations on August 7, 2023. The counselling for the special round will be conducted in two rounds and candidates have to fill up the application form after the vacant seats are displayed on the official portal. It must be noted that seat allocation will be done based on preferences submitted by candidates mentioned in the application form.

| Eligibility Rule 1 | Candidates not registered for JoSAA 2023 rounds but fulfilled the eligibility criteria. |
| Eligibility Rule 2 | Those participated in JoSAA-2023 but no seat is allotted. |
| Eligibility Rule 3 | Those who participated in JoSAA 2023, were allotted seats but cancelled due to non-payment of the seat acceptance fee |
| Eligibility Rule 4 | Those who have not exercised the 'EXIT' option at the time of JoSAA 2023. |
| Eligibility Rule 5 | Those who participated in JoSAA 2023 and have been allotted seats in any IIT and later their seats after document verification is cancelled, or, they have withdrawn their seat, or they have taken admission therein. |
| Eligibility Rule 6 | Those who participated in JoSAA 2023 and were allotted seats in NIT+ System and secured admission by paying the seat acceptance fee and admission fee (partial) at the allotted institute. |
| Eligibility Rule 7 | Those who participated in JoSAA-2023 and are allotted seats in the NIT+ system and later withdrawn from their allotted seats. |
| Eligibility Rule 8 | If participated in JoSAA 2023 and are allotted a seat in NIT+ System but later after document verification, their seat is cancelled in any of the subsequent JoSAA rounds. |
| Eligibility Rule 9 | If a candidate has participated in JoSAA 2023, has been allotted seats in NIT+ System, paid the seat acceptance fee, and completed the document verification process but due to non-payment of the partial admission fee. |
