Who is Eligible for VITEEE 2023?
VIT has started the VITEEE 2023 registration process in online mode. To apply for the VITEEE 2023, the candidates should visit the official website or before March 31, 2023. Candidates can check out the eligibility criteria here.
The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has started the VITEEE 2023 registration process in online mode. To apply for the VITEEE 2023, the candidates should visit the official website- vit.ac.in on or before March 31, 2023. The candidates should meet the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the VITEEE 2023 exam. VITEEE eligibility criteria is dependent on the following factors, such as-
- Nationality
- Age group
- Qualifying exam
- Minimum marks required
- Year of passing
Kindly note, the candidates, who have passed the 10+2 or intermediate exam from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks, are eligible to apply for the VITEEE 2023 exam.
VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2023

Nationality
- The residents/ non-residents of Indian Nationals/ OCL/ PIO are able to apply
- The foreign candidates can also apply directly for VITEEE 2023 only through the foreign category
Age
- Candidates, who were born after July 1, 2001, can apply for the exam (Note, the date of birth should be recorded in the High School/ X Certificate/ SSC)
Educational Qualification
- Candidates, who apply for Undergraduate engineering admission in 2023, must secure a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in 10+2 or Intermediate exam, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics
- The minimum qualifying mark for the reserved category candidates is 50%. Also the candidates from J&K, Ladakh, and Assam. Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Sikkim and Tripura should get 50% qualifying marks
Year of Passing
The candidates should pass the exam or should appear in 2023
VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2023 for Foreign Candidates and NRI
- Candidates should have English as one of the major languages of the qualifying exam
- They should pass 12 years of schooling in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics as the compulsory subjects
- They should get 55% aggregate marks in PCM or PCB in 10+2 or equivalent exam
