CAT is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in the world. More than 2 lakh aspirants apply for CAT every year and give it their best shot to get into their desired MBA college in India.
CAT 2020 notification was released on July 29, 2020, and CAT 2020 will be conducted on November 29, 2020, by IIM Indore and CAT 2020 result will be declared on January 5, 2021, as per the current schedule. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the schedule of MBA entrance exams has been disrupted and the MBA admission process has been thrown off tracks.
The trend is not limited to these, JEE Main was also postponed and an updated schedule for NEET was also declared. In such a scenario, it was but natural for students to wonder if CAT 2020 will be postponed.

CAT 2020 convenor has stated that the exam will not be postponed and will be conducted on November 29, 2020. CAT is the most widely-accepted MBA entrance exam in India. It is the only exam accepted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Many other top MBA colleges in India also base their admission on CAT cutoff score.

CAT 2020 cancellation is out of the question now. This would have been a possibility earlier if the circumstances would have been dire. Anyway, cancellation of CAT 2020 would have spelt disaster for the students who had been religiously preparing for the exam.
