The Omicron variant of the Coronavirus is spreading rapidly across India. The number of Omicron cases in the country has been on a constant rise for the past few months. In such a scenario, students who are looking forward to appearing for entrance exams for college admissions this year are worried about the exams getting postponed. This includes all CLAT 2022 aspirants who are planning to take admission in a law course this year.

With the number of Omicron cases rising every day, there is a high possibility that the Government will impose strict lockdowns in places with the highest positive rates. Since CLAT is an offline exam that is also not proctored from home, the lockdown can impact the date of the exam. However, the current exam date of CLAT 2022 is May 8, 2022, and it is expected that the Omicron scare will be contained by then.
