Will NEET UG 2025 Application Form be released in January or February? Check past trends
Based on the past years’ trends it is safe to assume that NEET UG 2025 application form will be released in February. NTA will announce the NEET UG 2025 registration and exam date along with an information bulletin on the official website.
NEET UG 2025 Application Form filling is expected to begin between mid and late February. According to past trends, the National Testing Agency (NTA) usually announces the release of application forms for NEET UG between February and March. For example, the application forms were released on February 9 in 2024 and on March 6 in 2023. By using this data, it seems that the NTA plans to open the NEET registrations around a few months prior to the exam date which is tentatively scheduled on May 4, 2025.
Going by the previous years’ trends, NEET UG 2025 registrations start in early February or March. Based on past 3 years data starting from 2022, it is safe to say that NTA will not be releasing the NEET UG 2025 application form in January.

It is being speculated that NEET UG 2025 will see some potential changes in the exam pattern and mode, the exam will most likely be conducted in CBT or hybrid mode. The official website for the NEET UG 2025 has launched and it is neet.nta.nic.in. This website will be an all in one platform to take care of NEET UG 2025-related tasks such as registration, application, syllabus details, admit card, and other important updates.
The Centre also told the Supreme Court of India that it would implement the corrective measures recommended by the NTA expert panel headed by former ISRO Chairman K Radhakrishnan among other recommendations which includes limiting the number of attempts, putting a cap of maximum age limit among other things.
