Maharashtra School Holiday: Is July 25 a Holiday?
As per the latest information, here is what will help students and parents understand and analyse the best regarding the Maharashtra School Holiday situation:Pune District Collector and District Disaster Management Authority, Chairman Suhas Diwase has ordered for all schools and institutions in Pune region to be closed on July 25.
Schools in Khadakwasla, Bhor, Velha, Maval, Mulshi, Haveli Talukas, and Pimpri Chinchwad are all closed.
Mumbai City and Suburban schools have also been closed for July 25 due to heavy torrential rain and waterlogging issues. Overflowing of Vehar Lake has also shut down the Andheri subway.
Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation has also declared an off for July 25.
A holiday has been declared for schools and colleges in Raigad and Palghar districts for July 25.
Lonavala Municipal Corporation has also declared an off for July 25 owing to the heavy rains in the area.
Thane district has also declared a holiday for July 25.
BMC Mumbai has also shared the holiday notice via its official X account.

As of July 25 afternoon, IMD had issued a red alert for 4 districts: Palghar, Raigad, Pune, and Satara. So far, Maharashtra school holiday has been declared in Palghar and Raigad.
Though Mumbai City and Suburban have been issued Orange alert for July 25, the city is facing water logging issues and hence, schools, colleges, and institutes have been declared with a holiday for July 25.
Schools under yellow alert districts like Nagpur are expected to remain open on July 25.
The IMD report predicts the weather to improve gradually till the end of the week.
Districts under orange and red alerts are expected to be closed, and schools under yellow alerts are unlikely to be closed.
