The paper consisted of 105 questions in total with each question having a weightage of one mark. All questions were multiple-choice questions with five options and one correct option, except for the essay question which was a short descriptive-type question.
The difficulty level of the paper is one of the major factors which alters the cutoff of the exam, and subsequently those of the institutes. Knowing the difficulty level allows the students to predict if the cutoff for this year will rise or drop when compared to that of the previous year.
