XLRI Jamshedpur Placements 2021-22: Maximum hike in average salary by 40 percent

XLRI Jamshedpur Placements for the Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (ExPGDM) for the batch 2021-22 have been completed. The institute informs that it indeed undermined any global economic gloom and emerged by acquiring the best salary packages. XLRI Jamshedpur as one of the oldest and prestigious B-Schools in India declares the successful completion of the placement drive for the ExPGDM programme, which was a 15-month full-time residential programme.   

The ExPGDM Programme at XLRI Jamshedpur has seen a 100% placement rate for the 2021-22 batch. A total of 114 students participated in the programme, out of which 112 opted for the placements and were placed with the best job profiles and salary packages as per the placement cell of the institute. 

Further, the XLRI Jamshedpur has seen a steep rise in the average and median salary offered by 40 % and 41% respectively. The average CTC offered to the students stood at INR 26.56 LPA and the median CTC offered stood at INR 26 LPA. In the 2021-22 placements, the XLRI Jamshedpur has seen the maximum salary hike in the history of the institute.

The placement cell stated that even with the impact of the Covid, the placements were not affected and students could achieve the best of it by securing the highest paid jobs. The placement drive of XLRI Jamshedpur hosted some renowned companies for the recruitment process. The batch of XLRI Jamshedpur was a cohort of working professionals in Fortune 500 companies and Big 4 unicorns and other leading organisations. The average experience of the students was 6 years, with 28 years as the minimum age of the cohort. The candidates were experienced in various sectors: product management, consulting, human resources, project management, marketing and software technologies. 

During the XLRI Jamshedpur ExPGDM 2021-22 placements, the cohort bagged opportunities in various domains: senior consultant, product manager, global engagement manager, business development manager, senior manager, programme manager, and other such domains. At the event, the General Secretary of the XLRI Jamshedpur Placement Committee said that in 2022 placements, students were placed in the leading business domains as per their demands and needs. The recruiters offered job roles as strategic business development, sales, and programme management among others. The General Secretary added that students were also placed in spearheading companies and ground-breaking technologies.
