XLRI Placements 2019-21: 100% Placements, Average Salary 25.8 Lakh
XLRI has achieved 100% placement for the batch of 2019-21. Top recruiters such as Mastercard, Airbnb, DE Shaw, DBS Bank, Nykaa, Freshworks, ZS Associates, ProgCap, Tata Electronics, Rebel Foods, IDFC Bank were a part of the placement process.
XLRI has achieved 100% placement for the batch of 2019-21. All 358 candidates have bagged jobs in the final recruitment process in just 2 days despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The placement process was held online and the placements were for the 2-year PG Diploma in Management-HR Management and PG Diploma in Management-Business Management.

108 recruiters took part in the final placement process. There were 370 domestic and international offers, inclusive of 23 new final recruiters as per a statement issued by the institute. Some of the new final recruiters were DE Shaw, DBS Bank, Nykaa, ZS Associates, Airbnb, Rebel Foods, IDFC Bank etc.

The median salary was Rs.23 lakh per annum and the average salary saw reported an increase from Rs.24.3 lakh to Rs.25.8 lakh per annum. The highest domestic offer was reported to be Rs.50 lakh per annum from the BFSI sector. Some of the usual recruiters at XLRI placements are Accenture Strategy, Paytm, Boston Consulting Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers. PSUs such as GAIL and Power Finance Corporation also took part in the final recruitment process. Consulting firms made offers to 29% of the candidates. The percentage of Sales & Marketing and BFSI offers were 16% and 14% of the roles respectively.
Also, around 33.3% of the students received pre-placement offers. P Christie SJ, XLRI Director said that despite COVID-19, the institute has managed to achieve 100% placements in a record timeframe.
