XLRI's New Education Management Programme for School Teachers & Aspiring Leaders
- The name of the programme is ‘Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Education Leadership and Management', and it has been launched in collaboration with Fordham University, USA.

Xavier School of Management or XLRI hosted ‘Teach India: Reach India’ – A National Colloquium on School Education recently. The institute launched a unique leadership and management programme during the inaugural session of Teach India: Reach India programme. The programme will benefit the school teachers and the aspiring candidates who are planning to take up leadership roles.
Centre for Research, Training, Education and Leadership of Xavier School of Management conceived the programme. The main objective of this programme is to enhance the teaching/ learning experience in schools across India.

The name of the programme is ‘Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Education Leadership and Management’. XLRI launched this programme in collaboration with Fordham University, the United States of America. The programme will focus on enhancing the effectiveness of the teaching community.
Chairperson of Centre for Research, Training, Education and Leadership, Rev. Fr. Francis Peter S .J. was of the opinion that majority of the principals take charge of the school administration, and most of them do not have any formal leadership and managerial training. The administrators usually lack efficiency in the administration. These principals usually manage the institute according to their practical ideas. XLRI has come up with this unique teaching programme after considering the requests made by principals of various educational institutions.

The total duration of the programme is 12 months and it will have 4 modules as well as 15 courses. Among the 15 courses, 10 courses will be delivered through online mode, i.e., desktop-to-desktop mode. The other five courses will be delivered through workshops at XLRI.
