<p>The sultry Sunday morning of Delhi University suddenly bustled with activities when hundreds of student teacher and employees came forward to celebrate International Yoga Day. Students were euphoric in the morning. While wearing their jogging outfits and even casual dresses they thronged at Indoor stadium in Gandhi Bhawan and other different spots of the campus. Several colleges also took their own initiative to celebrate the day as per their own conveniences. “It was a wonderful experience while participating in the event. It will infuse the spirit of sportsmanship in all the citizen of the country and amongst the student community,” says Akhilesh Kumar, a student of humanity. While a section of the student community also expressed their reservation about the event, “Yoga can’t improve the moral character of a person. In today’s materialistic society we need more moral input than this yoga and exercise,” says Nikita Sharma, a student from South Campus. Overall the event concluded peacefully.
