- The candidate’s best of four percentage for DU colleges will include two academic or elective subjects, one language and the subject in which the admission is being sought.
- In case the candidates have studied both elective and core in any languages, the core language will be treated as language. On the other hand, the elective language is considered as the elective/ academic subject.
- If the candidates are applying for admission to honours in Economics and Commerce, they must have studied and passed Mathematics in the qualifying examination.
- The candidates who have studied the elective language will get an advantage of 2% in the best four percentage. This rule is applicable only to those who apply for an honours degree in any language course.
- On the other hand, if the candidates have studied the language in the qualifying examination, and are seeking admission in Honours course in that language will have a disadvantage of 5% in the best four percentage.
