Role of District Education Officers in BSCC Loans
The role of district education officers in BSCC Loans is very important as they are responsible for reviewing and forwarding your application to the concerned bank for the required loan to be sanctioned. Your Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC) scheme application will go through three layers of verification before it reaches the nominated district education officer of the education department who is responsible for forwarding the application to the concerned bank after due diligence. Once the application is sent to the concerned bank, the bank will confirm the sanction of the education loan to DRCC and upload the sanction letter within 15 days. - Partial Waiver of Loan: If a student proves that they are attempting to repay the loan but are unable to do so in total, the government can waive part of the debt.
- Full Waiver of Loan: Exceptional cases are provided with a full waiver, mostly to students who have severe disabilities, extreme poverty, or who have died.
Waivers of Loans to Minority Groups and Women

If you are applying for the BSCC scheme or have already applied for the scheme, your application is reviewed and verified by various officials and verification agencies. During this time, you have to be patient and wait for the loan sanction to happen within the due course of time. However, if your application is taking too long to get approved or your loan sanction is stuck at a particular stage, you can contact BSCC officials for assistance or to offer updates on your application.
