Clears equipment at the end of the operating run and reviews the schedule to determine the next assignment. Records problems that occurred, such as downtime, and actions taken. May answer telephone calls to assist computer users encountering problems. May assist workers in classifying, cataloging, and maintaining tapes.

Programming Assistant

The job of a programming assistant requires them to install, maintain, and update computer programmes by making minor changes and adjustments to them under the guidance of computing professionals. Maintains and updates documents of computer programs and installations. Applies knowledge of principles and practices in programming and computing in order to identify and solve problems arising in the course of their work.
