TANCET 2024 MBA Marking Scheme

The marking scheme of TANCET 2024 MBA defines how the score of a candidate is calculated in the exam. It is very important to understand the marking scheme of the exam to make a good preparation plan. Candidates can refer to the information given below.

For Correct Answers

+1 Mark for each correct answer

For Incorrect Answers

-1/3 Marks for each incorrect answer

For Unanswered Questions

No negative marking for unanswered questions

For Incorrectly Marked Answers

-1/3 Marks for each incorrectly marked answer

As per the TANCET 2024 MBA Marking Scheme, each question in the exam carries 1 mark to be awarded to the candidates who give the correct answer. There is a provision of negative marking in TANCET 2024 MBA as well and 1/3 (one-third) of a mark is deducted for every incorrectly answered question. Filling the answer in the wrong way on the OMR sheet is also considered an incorrect answer. However, candidates are free to leave any number of questions unanswered in the exam and it attracts no penalty.

Marking Answers on TANCET 2024 MBA Answer Sheet

Since candidates are required to mark their answers on an OMR sheet, it is important to understand how to mark their answers on the OMR sheet. Candidates should be careful while marking their answers and doing this in the wrong way can result in an easily-avoidable penalty and would be just a careless mistake to make. Check the details below.

  • The answer sheet will contain small open boxes corresponding to every answer option for every question in the exam.

  • Candidates must shade these boxes using a black ballpoint pen only to mark their answers. If a pencil is used to mark an answer, it will not be evaluated.

  • Candidates must shade the complete box and ensure that the number given inside the box completely disappears when marking answers.

  • Improper or light shading may be missed while scanning the answer sheet resulting in the wrong evaluation of the answer.

  • Only one answer option must be shaded or filled by the candidate per question. Multiple shading will be considered as a wrong answer and 1/3 marks will be deducted for the same.

  • Candidates must special care while handling the answer sheet as even a small stray mark from the pen can result in the wrong evaluation of their answer.

Be very careful when marking your answers and make sure your pen does not leave any stray marks anywhere on the answer sheet. Not being careful may result in your losing out on a mark or two or worse, in attracting a negative marking.

Dear Student,

For admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at JIMS Jaipur, you must meet specific academic requirements. You need to have a minimum of 50% in your graduation. Additionally, a valid score in one of the recognized entrance exams—CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT—is mandatory. However, there is some flexibility: if you achieve a strong score in any of these entrance exams, it is possible to be considered for admission even if you have a graduation percentage of 49%. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take part in further assessment through a Written Assessment …
