Ganesh College of Engineering Salem offers access to various facilities for an exceptional learning experience. The institute is a residential college and
provides hostel facilities for accommodation. The hostel has a beautiful landscape with a spectacular garden. Each room in the hostel is provided with a cot, a table, a chair, a bookshelf, and a ceiling fan. The mess attached to the hostel provides delicious food with timely service. Smoking and consumption of alcoholic drugs are strictly prohibited and punishable.
The canteen includes a cafe, cafeteria and a restaurant serving both, veg and non-veg food to suit the different requirements. It serves snacks and tea for breaks along with breakfast and lunch.
Ganesh College of Engineering provides a free bus facility to deliver a hassle-free learning experience to the students. It gives the facility for distant places like Mettur, Mecharri, Nangavalli, Thoolachampatti, Tharamangalam, Steel plant, Jalagandapuram, Elampillai, Chinnappampatti, Vempadithalam, Samudram, Edappadi, Konganapuram, Magudanjavadi, Kakkappallayam, etc.
Ganesh College of Engineering houses a centrally air-conditioned digital library containing 1421 titles and 6506 volumes of books on various subjects. The library employs the latest technology to cater to the different library functions such as issues, returns, reservations, and searching for books. The library subscribes to 73 periodicals inclusive of 36 international journals and 37 national journals. The Ganesh College of Engineering also houses a connection with DELNET (Developing Library Network) through which students are able to access 255 institutions in India and abroad. The working hours for the library are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All the laboratories are also fully equipped. Computer laboratories are updated with the latest configuration system. Exclusive laboratories and CNC laboratories are equipped with modern equipment and industrial machines respectively.
