GLA University admissions are offered to a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across various fields of study. UG programmes include BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Tech, B.Pharm, BBA, and B.Ed. and PG programmes include M.Pharm, MBA, MCA, and M.Sc. GLA University also provides diploma, lateral entry, Integrated (BA-LL.B & B.Com-LL.B) and PhD programmes for admission. GLA University admission to all courses is based on GLAET scores, followed by an interview. GLAET, administered by GLA University, is an online multiple-choice test with varying durations (60 minutes to 2 hours) depending on the course applied for. However, MBA admission is also offered with a valid CAT/MAT/XAT score. Moreover, GLA University accepts GATE scores for admission to its M.Tech programme.
Candidates can apply to any of the courses either online or offline, by filling up the application form and paying an application fee of Rs 700 (Rs 500 for B.Ed). To be eligible for GLA University UG admissions; candidates must have cleared 10+2 and a minimum aggregate of 50%. And, for GLA University PG admissions, candidates require a minimum aggregate of 50% in the relevant discipline, with the exception of B.Tech and M.Tech, which require 60%. The GLA University also provides merit-based scholarships to students based on their Class 12 scores.

The selection criteria for GLA University UG courses, which include integrated BA-LL.B and B.Com-LL.B programmes in various specialisations, as well as BA, BBA, BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, Btech, BPharm, and B.Ed programmes, are the same.
