Webster University was founded in 1915 as a Catholic religious organisation and was named sLoretto College. It is a non-profitable private university in the United States with its main base in western Missouri. The university separated from the Church in 1967 with a mission to ensure that the students experience quality education and each student achieves excellence in their area of study. Webster University has been ranked 15th in Regional Universities Midwest by the U.S. News & World Report 2021. It also has an overall score of 73 out of 100 with an average 6-year graduate rate of 60%.

This scholarship opportunity is open to international freshman students based on their high school scores or GPA. They are notified within two to three weeks after they have received their admission decision. No separate application is required to apply for the scholarship.
Value: $13,000 - $19,000 per year (renewable for duration of the program)
This is based on an international transfer applicant’s post-secondary academic performance/GPA. The GPA should be cumulative of all graded college-level work and/or high school academic record. The scholarship will be awarded at the time of admission and no separate application is required to apply for the scholarship.
Value: $10,000 - $16,000 per year (renewable for duration of the program)
Offering to international students applying to postgraduate programs at the university’s St. Louis, MO campuses, the scholarship is aimed at providing financial support to students affected by the economic slowdown. Applicants must be starting their graduate studies in 2021, who will be directly considered at the time of application.
Value: 15-20% of the tuition fee
*Note: Irvine and Orlando campus international students may be considered for a limited period.
The scholarships are awarded based on a freshman applicant’s academic performance. They will be automatically reviewed at the time of admission and notified within 10-14 days after notifying their admission decision.

Eligibility:
Must be an incoming freshman applying for a full-time undergraduate program.
Must belong to an ethnic group typically underrepresented in higher education.
Must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale), ranked among the top 20% of high school graduating class, or a composite score of 25 or 1200 in ACT or SAT respectively. Only two of these should be fulfilled.

Webster University offers scholarships to a freshman who has demonstrated leadership during high school and will continue to show it during their time at the university. A separate application shall be submitted for this scholarship along with the admission application and all required documents. Up to 12 individuals will be awarded.

Must have demonstrated leadership in high school
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3
Must have scored a composite score of 24 in ACT of 1160-1190 in SAT Critical Reading and Math combined.
Value: $2,000 - Renewable
Deadline: February 8, 2021
These scholarships are open to incoming freshmen who will be able to attend a scheduled virtual competition event at Webster Groves campus on February 13, 2021. They shall be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course offered in the Fall and Spring semesters only.
Eligibility:
The applicant must meet two of the following criteria:
Must have obtained a cumulative GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale
Must have scored a minimum composite score of 27 in ACT or 1260 in SAT
Must rank among the top 20% of their high school graduating class
Value: Full tuition - Renewable
Deadline: January 18, 2021
