Xavier University is a private catholic university situated in Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded in 1831, it is the fourth oldest Jesuit university in the United States. The university is affiliated with the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU), Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU) and Council of Independent Colleges (CIC).
