Factors Determining AP ICET Cutoff 2024

The selection criterion for various categories is decided based on certain factors. These factors consist of:

The total number of candidates appearing in the examination.
Availability of seats in institutions that participate in it.
The reservation policies concerning various categories.
Trends or patterns of cutoff in different years.
The difficulty level of the exam when compared to prior years.
Scheme for marking and scoring AP ICET.
Overall performance of the candidates in the exam.

AP ICET Merit List 2024

The resultant AP ICET 2024 merit list was published by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. Ranks and marks of all the candidates appearing for the examination will be included in the merit list. If a candidate appears for the AP ICET examination, he/she will find his/her name on the merit list regardless of the marks attained. Only those candidates who qualify for AP ICET will be eligible for AP ICET counselling.

The merit list plays a major role in determining the AP ICET cutoff. In case of a tie, first, Section A, and after that Section B, candidates will be placed in order of merit based on the marks scored by them. If the tie still persists, older candidates will be placed higher in order of merit above younger candidates. AP ICET 2024 Counselling Process

The AP ICET 2024 counselling process involved document verification, choosing of options, allotment of seats, fee payment, and reporting to the assigned college for admission in MBA/MCA courses. The allotment of seats was based on merits and preferences. You will need to create an account on the AP ICET website (icet-sche.aptonline.in) and pay the processing fee (INR1200 for General/OBC, INR600 for SC/ST). Thereafter, shortlisting is based on the merit rank list. You will need to attend online document verification after indicating your preferred college/course.

You will receive a registration number, user ID, and password for web counselling. The seat allotment letter was sent to candidates either through SMS or through email on the registered contact details. Finally, you are required to report to the allotted college within the prescribed date along with your allotment letter and original documents for admission confirmation.
