Gujarat PGCET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Gujarat PGCET 2025 eligibility criteria will be released along with the official notification. The eligibility criteria of Gujarat PGCET 2025 include details like educational qualification, age limit, minimum passing marks, etc. To be eligible for the Gujarat PGCET 2025, the candidates must get at least 50% in the qualifying examination in the relevant B.Tech specialization. Candidates from the reserved categories (SC/ST/SEBC) will be offered a 5% relaxation. Candidates must have valid GATE test scores to participate directly in the Gujarat PGCET counselling. Gujarat PGCET is conducted for admission in the specific course under ME/ M.Tech or M.Pharm. The eligibility criteria vary for specific courses. 

Only those who fulfill all the eligibility requirements will be allowed to fill out the Gujarat PGCET application form 2025 and download the admit card. Gujarat PGCET 2025 exam is expected to be held in the 1st week of August 2025.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have passed an examination (Bachelor’s degree) in a relevant discipline

Qualifying Exam Marks

The candidate must have 50% for the Engineering stream and 55% for the Pharmacy stream (in the previous years of study). For  SC/ST/SEBC candidate the marks required is 45% for Engineering and 50% for Pharmacy

Applicants with a valid GATE exam score are also eligible to apply for the M.E/M.Tech/M.Pharm admission process through the Gujarat PGCET counselling process.

GUJARAT PGCET Reservation Policy

Seats for M.E./ M.Tech/ M.Pharma are reserved for candidates who are of Gujarat origin. The candidate must produce a category certificate who wants to claim admission under the reserved category.  Socially and Educationally Backward class candidates must also produce a certificate for non- inclusion in a creamy layer along with the caste certificate. Caste Certificate must be issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat and it must be duly stamped and signed by the authority.  In case a candidate fails to produce the required documents, he/ she will be considered under the unreserved category.

What are the eligibility clauses for GUJARAT PGCET 2024 entrance exam?

Dear Student,

The Gujarat PGCET 2024 exam date has been postponed. The examination will now be conducted on August 3 & 4, as per the revised schedule. The conducting body, ACPC has released the hall ticket for the same on the website acpc.gujarat.gov.in. If you have completed your document verification and downloaded the letter but are failing to find your Gujarat PGCET 2024 admit card, then you are advised to go through your e-mail inbox once as the authority sends the hall ticket to the candidate’s ID.
