Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) is a state-level entrance exam administered by JCECEB for admission to first-year/professional courses such as B.V.Sc. & A.H, B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry, B.Tech Dairy Technology, B.F.Sc, B.Tech Agriculture Engineering, and B.Sc.

JCECEB will release all the important JCECE 2024 dates soon along with the official notification. Once the JCECE schedule is out, we will update it in the table below. 

JCECE Board will release the JCECE eligibility criteria 2024 while publishing the official notification on its website. The eligibility criteria is based on educational qualification, age limit, and domicile or residential background. Only Jharkhand residents who are either local or permanent residents are eligible to apply for JCECE 2024. Students must have completed Class 12 from a recognized board with the required minimum marks in order to be admitted to JCECEB's several UG degrees in the fields of Horticulture, Agriculture Engineering, Dairy Technology, and Fisheries Science. If an applicant is determined to be ineligible at a later stage, he or she will be rejected from the admission process.

JCECEB will release the JCECE 2024 application form online. Candidates will be required to fill in all the details in the JCECE application form 2024 like Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, etc. The photograph and signature should be uploaded according to the specifications mentioned. 

How to Complete the JCECE Application Form 2024?

Follow the steps given below to fill out the JCECE 2024 application form.

Step 1: Registration

• Go to the official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/
• Click the "New Registration" button
• Fill out the registration form with all of the essential information, such as the candidate's name, father's name, gender, category, date of birth, e-mail ID, mobile number
• Post submitting the details, you will be provided with a registration number as well as a password for the login process

Step 2: Filling JCECE Application Form 2024

• Log in to the official website using your registration number and birth date
• The application form will appear on the screen
• Personal information such as Candidate's Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Parent Domicile, Category must be filled in the form
• The exam city centre must be chosen from the drop-down list
• Educational Qualification, stream, passing year, and grade point average must be filled 
• Address, email address, location, and phone number are all required for communication.
• The information entered into the JCECE 2024 application form will be shown on the screen. Candidates must read the completed application form, sign the statement, and then click "Final Submit." Candidates' JCECE application number 2024 will be displayed after successfully submitting the form

Step 3: Uploading the scanned images of the required documents

At the next step, candidates must upload scanned/digital copies of their portrait, signature, and thumb impression, as specified below.

Step 4: Fee Payment

• The fee can be paid online (through debit/credit card).
• If paying by debit/credit card, have the card information ready, enter it into the payment gateway, and complete the transaction.
• Candidates are recommended to print a copy of their fee payment evidence for security reasons.
• Candidates should be aware that the application cost, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Step 5: JCECE Application form submission

• The final submission is the final stage of the JCECE 2024 application procedure.
• Candidates must cross-check all of the information they have supplied in the application form before submitting it.
• They must also grab a number of printouts of the submitted JCECE 2024 application form for their records.

JCECE admit card 2024 will be released a few days before the exam. The hall ticket will be available at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. Candidates must input their login information, including their registration number and password, in order to download their admission card. JCECE 2024 admit card will also be sent to candidates who successfully register for the test. The admit card will include details like the candidate’s name, roll number, exam timings, exam location, exam centre address, important exam day instructions, etc. On the day of the exam, candidates must bring their admit card along with valid ID proofs. Without an admit card, the applicant will not be permitted to take the exam.

The JCECE question paper is based on the CBSE's unified syllabus for classes 11th and 12th. The curriculum includes subjects from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The JCECE 2024 Syllabus is different for each program offered.

Every year, the JCECE Board publishes the JCECE 2024 exam pattern for the Jharkhand state-level entrance exam alongside the official notice. The JCECE 2024 exam will be held in offline mode. Candidates need not select an examination medium while registering because the question paper includes questions in both English and Hindi.

Candidates aiming to crack the JCECE 2024 exam in the first attempt could follow these JCECE preparation tips 2024:

• Create a study schedule and stick to it.
• Make a schedule that allows you to devote enough time to each subject.
• Candidates must first obtain comprehensive information about the test structure and syllabus.
• Examine prior year's question papers to get a sense of the types of questions that were asked.
• To retain attention, take regular breaks in between study sessions.

JCECEB will release the JCECE answer key 2024 in the third week of July 2024. The answer key consists of the correct answers of the questions asked in the exam. Candidates can calculate their tentative score with the help of the answer key. The authorities provide the option of challenging the answer key. To challenge the answer key, candidates need to pay the required fees. Following that, the authorities will publish the final JCECE 2024 answer key. 

The JCECE 2024 result will be tentatively released in the fourth week of July 2024. Candidates should choose the course for which they are attempting to check their results before proceeding. Candidates must then input their JCECE 2024 Roll Number and choose "Search" after doing so. The list of qualifying applicants will be released together with the results in the form of a Common Merit List (CML). State rank, roll number, name, category, scores, and the candidate's comments will all be included in the JCECE result 2024. 

JCECE counselling process 2024 will be held in 3 rounds for students who will pass the JCECE 2024 exam. The authorities will conduct two rounds of JCECEB counselling, following which the seats will be allocated. During counselling, candidates must choose the course and institute to which they wish to be admitted. The allotment of seats will be made based on their choices and seat availability. Candidates must pay the counselling fee of INR 400/- for General/BC-I/BC-II category and INR 250/- for SC/ST/Female candidates via RTGS or Credit/Debit Card, in addition to the partial admission fee, which will be announced later in the advertisement before the counselling begins. Candidates must fill out their chosen colleges during the JCECE 2024 choice filling and pay the counseling fees when their documents have been verified. The merit list, selections made by the applicants, and seat availability are taken into consideration for allocating seats for JCECE 2024.

• Local Resident Certificate issued by SDO (Civil) or DC of Jharkhand State

• Caste Certificate issued by SDO (Civil) or DC of Jharkhand State

• One Passport Size Photograph

• Disability Certificate (if any) issued by Medical Superintendent/CMO/Head of Hospital

• Dependency Certificate issued by competent Army officer (for serving Army Personnel/Officer)

• Income Certificate issued by SDO (Civil) or DC of Jharkhand State
